Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

If you have skilled work experience (work experience should be full time / part time) then you are eligible to apply for Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) in Canada of express entry.

You must fulfill following minimum requirement to be eligible for this program:

  • Skilled work experience
  • Valid Language test with minimum requirement fulfilled (CLB 7)
  • Must have education certificate (ECA Done)

Qualified points are 67. If you score 67 or more than that, you are eligible to apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP).

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

If you have a certificate of any of the skilled trade, then you can apply for your Permanent Residency under Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) category.

You must fulfill following minimum requirement to be eligible for this program:

  • Valid Language test with minimum requirement fulfilled (CLB 5 for Speaking and Listening and CLB 6 For Reading and Writing)
  • Must have 2 years of experience in trade category within last 5 years
  • Must have Certificate related to your trade from Canadian provincial, territorial or federal authority
  • Your job duties must match with NOC description
  • Have a valid job offer letter for 1 year

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Provincial Nominee Program is for those who have:

  • Good Qualification and skilled work experience that can contribute to the economy of that province or territory
  • Wants be a part of that province only

Every province of Canada has its own nomination program and selection criteria but every province includes (or gave invitation to apply to)

  • Students
  • Skilled & Semi Skilled workers
  • Business people

You can apply for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) by three different methods:

Paper Based Process : Longer processing time than usual.

With Express Entry Process : Province assesses your profile and sends you “Provincial Nomination” and Permanent Residency application will be done electronically.

Without Express Entry : Login to the Provincial portal and apply for “Expression of Interest”, after EOI, apply for Nomination and then Permanent Residency application will be done electronically.
