Express Entry CEC Draw: CRS Cut-offs Stoop Down to 431!

After the initiation of travel restrictions by the Canadian Government in the March month, more than 30000 Express Entry candidates have received Invitations to Apply (ITAs). The Express Entry round held on 25th June itself saw as many as 3508 ITAs being issued to the candidates to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence.
This Express Entry CEC draw witnessed ITAs being given to candidates who have scored at least 431 or more CRS points. This figure is the lowest ever CRS cut-off score recorded ever since the Express Entry CEC round was held on 31st of May in the year 2017.
Every CEC-centric Express Entry round has undergone a pattern of lesser CRS cut-off scores after the introduction of travel restrictions by Canadian Government. The IRCC is dedicatedly targeting and prioritizing CEC and PNP candidates as observed in the draws held in the last 3 months. This is because such candidates are most likely to be in Canada.
All the prospective candidates of Canadian Immigration have been suggested to submit their profiles to the Express Entry pool in order to make sure that their presence is maintained in the system itself, in case a Federal Skilled Worker round is conducted. It will also make it a certain case scenario that such candidates/applicants will have a healthy chance of getting selected in the form of Express Entry-related provincial nominations.
This year, a staggering 49900 ITAs have already been issued by Canada and 25th June’s draw was Canada’s 21st Express Entry round in 2020. All in all, it’s the 154th Express Entry round conducted by Canada for welcoming candidates of Canadian Immigration.
